Mike D'Alessandro
Mike D'Alessandro serves as Managing Director of Research Tax Credits, LLC , works closely with CPAs, attorneys as well as financial, banking and real estate professionals as a resource to help identify opportunities to apply Research & Experimentation/Development Tax Credits, Cost Segregation Studies, Fixed Asset Reviews, 179D/Energy Efficient Building Tax Incentives, Domestic Production Deduction DPAD , the Export Incentive (IC-DISC), LIFO and IPIC LIFO Accounting, Auto Dealer LIFO and the Net Inventory Method for Auto Dealers and Retailers that receive "Unconditional Receivables" from their factories or manufacturers.

Mike and his team of former Big 4 CPA's all have extensive experience in these specialty tax services.                                                                              
Cost Segregation: Mike and his Partners have performed hundreds of cost segregation studies collectively.  In the past nine years Mike has been intimately involved in over 200.
R&E Tax Credit: Mike has worked with three national providers that performed thousands of studies collectively.  Mike has personally worked on and managed over 300 R&E calculations.
LIFO and IPIC-LIFO : Mike has worked with over 50 clients just in Pennsylvania and is now working with the leading LIFO provider in the country with over 70,000 hours of experience.
Net Inventory Method & Auto Dealer LIFO: Our Partner has developed and owns a custom, proprietary software that performs over 700 New Car, Truck & RV Dealers annual calculations.
IC-DISC: Mike has merged his DISC practice into the only provider in the country that has built a true software product to calculate the 861 Marginal Costing required by the IRS to defensibly take advantage of the transaction by transaction or analysis allowing a larger tax benefit.
Over the years, Mike has had the opportunity to speak in many different educational settings about these specialty tax services to groups both large and small.  Over 275 hours of approved Continuing Professional Education credits have been issued to thousands of CPA's in the U.S.

Since 1991, Mike has worked in the construction and manufacturing fields where he was a top performer with four public companies, two of which were Fortune 200.   He has also been heavily involved in industry-related organizations such as the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) as well as membership and participation in accounting and finance groups, ACG, PSPA and the PICPA.

Mike is a native of Montgomery County Pennsylvania who now lives in the Lehigh Valley and has an office in Allentown Pennsylvania.  He earned his MBA in Finance from DeSales University in Center Valley Pennsylvania in 2001, his bachelor's degree from Kansas State University in Manhattan Kansas in 1991 and was eligible to take the CPA exam in May 2005.
